Make Winter Work for You
Looking for winter income while keeping your daytime job? Snow Operations may be a fit. We provide equipment and paid training, with flexible scheduling for people who work during the day.
We know applicants may wonder whether the work ends after winter and how early the callouts can be. Snow calls can come as early as 3 a.m., depending on the weather. Our work continues through spring cleanups, summer maintenance, and fall cleanups and enhancements. If you want twelve months of work, we have it. From a Push Mower to a Team That Works Through Every Season
JOSH Landscape Co. began with a push mower and an entrepreneurial spirit. As a teenager, founder Josh Schmieder started mowing lawns for extra money. Neighbors noticed his work ethic and attention to detail, and a small side job grew into a business built on respect, quality, strong relationships, and teamwork. Today, we serve residential clients with outdoor design and construction, from patios and plantings to complete backyard projects. In 2019, the company launched PropertyCare to provide landscape maintenance and snow removal for commercial properties throughout the Rochester area.
That range of work creates opportunities across the seasons. We know landscaping work can be unpredictable, so we work to keep our people working through the winter. We also want each day to be a good one, with a supportive team, monthly breakfasts and awards, uniforms, training, and the tools to do your job well.
